Itinerary: Road Trip in France – Amended – Paris (III) + Wine regions near Beaune and Arbois

Copy of Copy of Itinerary_-2

I’ve been thinking about the Beaune and Arbois itinerary that I posted – since it’s definitely the next trip I want to take. I probably think about it too much. I want to take that trip with Ryan, since he’s my favorite travel partner and he’s fast becoming quite well-traveled! We’re not even halfway through 2018 and he’s already been to Mexico, Israel, Ireland and Portugal! So, it got me thinking – if we do this trip, how could we go to France without him seeing Paris? Amongst us travelphiles, wouldn’t that be violating some kind of travel rule? To deny a first-time France –goer the opportunity to see Paris?! So I realized there needs to be a happy medium to this trip – and voila! Find it below. A mixture of the best of Paris (you’ll see a lot of the same items from my original Paris itinerary) and a shortened exploration of the Beaune and Arbois areas.

A quick note on timing – my thinking is that this would be a great trip to do over Labor Day in September, which is why I have this trip starting on Friday. Many offices get out early on Friday in advance of a Monday holiday anyway AND you don’t have to use a vacation day for Monday!
